Community Support Coffee Mornings

Addressing local issues of social isolation, our regular coffee mornings aim to provide local residents in hard to reach areas of Brentwood with free information, advice and help on a wide range of local services that would benefit them.  Many local and regional organisations (i.e. Essex Sight, Carers First, Brentwood Community Tree etc) are represented at these events, as well as a dedicated IT support desk to help those residents who lack IT skills/confidence, and various demonstrations.

These partner organisations have found these events to be particular useful as they were able to reach residents in isolated communities which they otherwise would be not be able to do so.

Thank you for inviting us again to the Community Support Coffee Morning, this time in Blackmore.

I am so pleased that you have obtained a venue there as it is an outlying rural area that we as Neighbourhood Watch have been trying to serve with little success. We will now be able to talk with and hopefully assist many local Residents there.

Winter Warmth

Working with local partners we have been able  to provide help for residents whose health and wellbeing is at risk during cold weather. Part of this work is the distribution of winter warmth packs, which contain essential items and information, such as thermal hat/scarf/gloves and a room thermometer to those most in need during the winter months.

If you would like one of these winter warmth packs, or know someone who would benefit from one, please let us know by sending us a message.

Christmas Gift Appeal for Lonely Residents

Our Christmas Gift Appeal, aims to give gifts to older residents in our community who might be without family or friends over the festive period.
