Help victims of crime

Victim support is an independent charity that helps victims of crime.

We train our volunteers to give emotional support, information, & practical help to people who have been affected by all kinds of crime.  They make contact by phone & arrange a face to face meeting as  appropriate.  Volunteers have regular support themselves, have the opportunity to attend volunteer meetings to meet other volunteer’s & listen to guest speakers, & we pay expenses.

We would like a commitment of 2-3 hours weekly either during the day, evenings, or weekends
