Lighthouse Furniture – Aims & Objectives

Our primary aim is the relief of poverty, particularly to homeless people or others in housing crisis, through the provision of quality used furniture, electrical and household goods generously donated by the local community.

We collect for free and clean and repair items in our warehouse in Hutton.  In so doing we also help conserve and protect the environment by diverting furniture, which might otherwise end up in landfill.

Volunteering opportunities exist helping serve customers, undertaking small repairs, office duties including answering the phone and recording collections and deliveries on a database and helping on the vans.
